Communications training for the WSAR and USAR ComTec covers SAR and Disaster communications, procedures, systems and tricks of the trade. Based on 35 years of hands on lessons learned.     ComTec Program P25 Training Module P25 Training manual from Daniels Electronics Covers all the basics and more on what is P25. This is a required module for the ComTec 1 certification. Cost is $10 for certificate on line. You must read the manual to complete the module and print a certificate online.     STM-A Search Team Member Awarness Level Welcome to the Search Team Member Awareness level training program from Rescue International. This course is designed to provide awareness and basic level Search Team Member training for SAR , Law Enforcement, OES, EMA, EMS and other public safety personnel that will or may be involved in a search operation. This is the first level of training members and you should expand your training to operations and technician levels if there are members of a SAR team. RITA offers more advanced training to meet NFPA 1670 or State or Federal requirements. Cost $15 with a certificate that you print on completion.     Wilderness Survival for the Search Team Member Wilderness Survival for the Search Team Member Module is desgined to provide the STM/STL with the skills need to survive in the wilderness if seperated from their task group or if involved in an aircraft crash during a mission at a basic level. It is only the 1st step in training, additioanl hands on training with your agency or from an experianced survival training center is recommended.     An Agency User Guide to SAR Dogs This course provides information on the capabilities and use of search dogs during SAR and Disaster missions. It is a required module of the Search Team Leader training Certification. This course is of great benifit to Law Enforcement and EMA/OES agencies.     ComTec Training Satellite Communications Module Satellite Communications section of the ComTec training program. This course is required for completion of the ComTec Certification.
